Happy Birthday Mayley!

Mayley turned 2 today!! We had lots of fun getting her up this morning. We made her breakfast and stuck 2 candles in her toast and she blew out the candles about 5 times. She loves doing that. She slept in for a long time this morning so we already had the house decorated with streamers when she woke up. Her facial expression was unforgettable as she looked downstairs and saw the streamers hanging. She was so excited to see Balloons as well and we hurried and blew them up! She keeps us laughing all the time. We had a party for her at 1:00 this afternoon. Grandma Lynda, Grandpa Call, Grandma & Papa Redding, Parker, Nancy, Steve, Abbie, Anna & Megan all came to celebrate with her. Her party was supposed to be an ELMO theme but all the stuff I ordered off the internet like an elmo shaped cake pan and balloons didn't get here in time so Bryan hurried and whipped up a cake for Mayley this morning. He did an awesome job. We played pin the nose on Elmo, hot potato with a stuffed animal Elmo, and Fishie Dorthy bean bag toss. We also played a game where I printed off lots of pictures of mayley since she was born and I stuck them all over the wall and I would give everyone a hint of where the picture was of Mayley and we had to put them in order. It was a fun game.

When Mayley went to open her presents she jumped up and down and kept saying "PRESENTS" She was super excited to open up each one. Her first present was a baby doll and after that she wouldn't put the thing down! So she opened the rest of her presents one handed! Everytime she would open a present we would tell her what it was and then she would repeat what it was in her high excited voice. Thank you everyone for all the fun gifts she recieved. :)

Bryan and I are super exhausted. We cannot describe the Happiness that our little Mayley girl brings to us. She is our pride and joy!! We love watching her learn and grow everyday. She is such a good and loving big sister to Hunter. She loves learning new things and making lots of messes. She is our little helper when it comes to cleaning things. Bryan even said tonight that she could start her own maid business when she gets older. I truly believe that Heavenly Father has given all of us our own personality when he created us because it is amazing to watch Mayley and how strong of a little woman she is. We just love her guts! :)

Sounds like you had a great party. I can't believe she is already 2 years old. It seems like we were just barely at her baby shower. She is adorable.

Sounds like a fun party! I love that she was so excited about the decorations. If anyone makes you feel good about the effort you put into something, it's kids! She's such a cutie. We need to plan a play date soon! Happy Birthday, Mayley!
