18 months old!

The day we got home from our vacation the first thing Hunter did when he woke up was put on his beanie. He is such a funny dude. He loves to wear hats. Even Bryan's hats! He turned 18 months on Jan 20th. He is officially in nursery now and cried the whole time last week because he wanted to be with Daddy instead of me. He says a couple things with sign language that we have taught him. He can sign: Dad, Please, Thank you, More, food, & Milk. He is really good at understanding what we say to him. He knows when to get his shoes, when to take a bath, when to get his diaper changed and when it is stinky he squeezes his nose for PU!! He holds his hands out when something is all done or all gone. When something is missing he holds his hands out like "WHERE IS IT?" He gets mad anytime you take him away from doing anything he is not supposed to be doing. Which is 90 % of the time it seems like. He is best for making HUGE messes. He climbs up on everything that he can climb up on. even the computer desk to play with the printer. What a Nut Ball. He makes us laugh a ton! We love our little BUBS! Oh yeah another funny thing....We bought him this little play fisher price vacumm because he loves to play with our real vacumm. He takes after my dad. My dad is a vacumm freak. I bet my dad has more than 5 vacumms at their house. Anyway Hunter loves to take his play vacumm and let it roll down the stairs. He laughs and does it again and again.

This is our Mayley girl when she was 18 months old. She was hilarious! She could take the 2 lb weights and lift them up and over her head. Hunter was 2 months old when she turned 18 months. It is fun to see what both of our kids look like at the same age!!

What not to do to a sand Castle!

Shared Pictures

Here are some of the pictures from our trip to Mexico. This picture is inside the Tulum ruins. You cant see any of the ruins but the site is located right on the beach. The water was so blue and pretty.

This is us at Chichen Itza, one of the new seven wonders of the world. This is the largest and most famous piramide.
We made a sandcastle (in the background) and then we made this cool alligator. We are kids at heart. We made them on behalf of Mayley and Hunter
Cover your eyes if your not married. j/k This was on the island of Cozumel. We were cruzing around on the scooter and then watched the sunset from this small beach. We went snorkling and saw Crush from "Finding Nemo" He was totally awesome "dude"

We had a great time. Thanks to both Grandma and Grandpa's for babysitting the kids. Thanks to Brad and Kerri for letting us borrow their sweet waterproof digital camera.

Brianne's New Church Calling

After 2 years of living in my ward here in Tooele I was released as the 2nd counselor in the primary presidency. I have grown so much in serving the Lord in this calling. I know that it was a wonderful blessing to learn from each primary child. We have a HUGE primary. About 80 kids. I went through 2 1/2 presidency's! I have such a love for every single lady I got to work with. Donna taught me to love the children and pray for them, Marcy taught me it is ok to voice your own opinion and to take care of those that needed help, Jaimee taught me to have relationships with each of the children by visiting with them and that we are entitled to the revelation we need for our callings we are given (she is so insipred as the president), Rachel taught me how to always read my scriptures to be a better mother through her talks and sharing times, Marissa taught me that some people do silly things but we still love them no matter what!!!, Charlene has taught me to appreciate all that we have and never take your blessings for grantide, & Heather is one of the funniest girls ever. She made me laugh a ton in our meetings. She amazes me with her talents that she has shared with the primary through her art work! You girls amaze me and I will miss all the funny times we had in our meetings. Wendy Conklin will do a wonderful job with those scouts.

I was called to be Hunter's new Nursery Leader with a fun partner who I love dearly! I am excited to still be in Nursery and that Hunter will get to be with me. We have some darling little kids. I love my ward so much and I'm so grateful that I get to grow in new ways as a nursery leader. Its like the coveted calling in our ward. Bry wants to be in there with me sooooooooo bad! Maybe he will be someday!

My suprise christmas Present!!

Bryan suprised me for Christmas and took me to Cancun. We were blessed to get some free airline tickets from one of his family members so that helped!! We just got back and stayed for 5 days! It was amazing!! it was the perfect getaway. The kids stayed with both of our parents and I feel so super lucky that the kids have amazing grandparents to take care of our kids. I MISSED THEM so much! I had a breakdown the first night we were there thinking about how much I already missed them. My kids mean the world to me! There were so many adventures and so many fun things that happened it would take me forever to tell about all the fun things that we did. I wanted to share some fun pics I found randomly on the internet of the places we went and stayed. The first 3 days we stayed about 45 minutes south in an all inclusive hotel called the BARCELO MAYA BEACH. It was soooooo beautiful. I was in awe the first night we got there. I felt like we were in a paradise. It had everything there you could think of. A spa, Jacuzzi, saunas, steam rooms, all you can eat buffetts (yummy amazing food), swimming pools, hammocks to lay back and relax in, water activities, volleyball courts, a shopping plaza, everything. It was super fun to stay there but I'm glad we got out and saw other places as well.

The Barcelo Beach All inclusive!

The 3rd day we were there we took a trip and rented a car out to see Chichen itza!! It was amazing to see. We got there late in the day so we got a guy to take us on a personal tour for half the price because we only had an hour to tell us everything. It was so much better with someone to tell us all about the ruins.

The next day driving back from chichen itza we stopped off at the Tulum Ruins. We found a guy that is LDS and he shared with us all about the importance of the Book of Mormon significance of these ruins. It was beautiful here because it is right next to the ocean!! WOW it was breathtaking!

We got to spend a night and half a day over in Cozumel. This is the hotel we stayed in right next to the beach from a overhead view. Cozumel was beautiful. we got to see the beautiful sunset, go shopping, go to pizzza hut for dinner (I was craving pizza for some reason!), and we rented a scooter to do all of this. the scooter was a blast! we just rented one and rode on it together. I kinda crashed it cause I got scared and yeah we didn't get hurt though. yikes. We had some amazing tacos the day we came home at a little public beach. WOW not even close to taco time or taco bell thats for sure. I loved cozumel! I wish we had more time to spend there. I love the ocean and the beach! Its amazing.

I will have to share the pics once we get them downloaded! We took about a million pictures. Mexico is soooooooooo much like brazil I couldn't even believe it. When we got downtown I felt like I was in brazil again. My heart felt like home for a moment! warm and cozy! yes I know in Mexico! wow it made me want to go to brazil so bad. Bry did wonderful speaking in spanish to all the mexicans! I could understand about 75 percent of everything they were saying!! It was fun to try and speak it a little bit. I actully learned more while I was there. I did things all by myself by speaking spanish! I suprised myself. anyway....what an amazing trip! I'm glad to be home to my kids. I missed them so much!! Bryan is the best hubby ever!! A vacation was much needed for me and bry! It was everything I could ever dream of. :) more pics will come soon.

Power of a testimony

In the past couple of weeks I have answered the door twice to find Jehova Witnesses standing on my door preaching to me. Of course they are doing something good and trying to preach the word of God. They were very nice people.

So what would you do if this happens to you? Do you say "I'm LDS" and slam the door in their faces? NO of course not because we are not that kind of people to rub our religion into others faces and reject them. Do you try to preach the gospel to them, give them a book of mormon, and tell them they are wrong??? ummm yeah I don't know exactly. It is such an awkard situation. The first time it was 2 ladies and I had no idea who they were. I just told them that I would pass on taking it...because really I'm NOT going to read it and it is a waste to give to me. so they were nice and said they would come by another time. YIKES. then they came again today. I listened to them and was nice but my excuse was that I had to run mayley over to the little preschool that I take her to. REALLY WE WERE!! But it has made me think of the power of my testimony and the truths that come from being a LATTER DAY SAINT!

I just wanted to share my testimony of how TRUE and amazing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints TRULY IS TRUE!! whoa that is a lot of trues!! That is because it is!!!!
I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ visted Joseph Smith in the grove and answered his prayers. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and restored all the truths and Jesus Christ's Church to the earth. I know he recieved the preisthood through the John the Baptist and Peter, James and John. I know that we have divine revelation through our living prophet Pres. Monson. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know he atoned for our sins. I know he loves us and he knows us personally. He answers our prayers when we are sincere and he has made it possible to return to our Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon testify's of Jesus Christ and his mission and his love for us. We can become better people when we read the Book of Mormon. It is true. I love the gospel so much and we can find true happiness when we live it. When we serve the Lord in callings and our neighbors and when we bear testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I am grateful to know the true gospel and the happiness it brings. I'm grateful for temples and the plan of living with our families for eternity! what a blessing.

Thanks for reading everyone. I know its kinda long. I just wanted to share my feelings for the amazing gospel. I don't know what my life would be like without!

Christmas 2008

I never got around to really sharing our christmas experiences. Plus I want to remember how this last year was with the kids and everything. Mayley is 2 1/2 and Hunter was 17 months. Christmas day was spent with my family. It was such a fun year to see the kids open up their presents. Once they opened them they wanted to stick to that same toy. Christmas is such a peaceful and exiting holiday. Definently one of my favorites. I love all the decorations, the food, the smells, the lights, the parties, & the family time you get to spend with one another too. Christmas was a blizzard outside all day so we played the WII and ate lots of yummy food. We watched movies inside and played with the kids.

Ali is such a cute aunt to mayley and hunter. Mayley was soooo thrilled to get a princess calendar!

Santa brought the kids power wheels bikes. The kids rode around on them all day long. They are a blast to have!!

Christmas Eve we spent with the Call family. We dress up and listen to Luke 2 and 3 Nephi in the book of mormon of Jesus' Birth. Bry's mom found these cool painted sheep and horses to use as a nativity background. The kids loved it. We also eat pizza by candlelight and we opened lots of fun presents.

All the girls in their new jammies that grandma and grandpa bought for them.
We all dress up in funny clothes to pretend like we are part of the natvity scene as well.

Mayley and Hunter had fun playing in the snow on Christmas eve!!
