What a funny little guy!

Hunter loves eating his baby food. Talk about a messy little face! He makes the funniest faces EVER! I love it!

My friend Andrea came over Friday night to hang out with us while her husband was on a scout klondike derby. She has 2 kids that about the same age as Mayley and Hunter so we play lots! This is Hunter and Ethan playing side by side. They are still getting used to each other but they are sure cute! Don't mind the hand! Ethan's sister, Kelsey, wanted to grab the camera out of my hand! :)

We thank thee, O God for our Prophet!

I have a testimony that President Hinckley was the Prophet of God here on the earth to lead us and guide us by Heavenly Father's voice. I am humbled when I think of him and the amazing works he did on this earth for everyone around him! I am so grateful to have lived in the time here on the earth when he was our prophet. When I was serving as a missionary in Sao Paulo Brazil he came down to rededicate the Sao Paulo Temple. The Brazilian's put on a big show for him and I was there to witness it!! Pres. Hinckley spoke to the brazilians as well Me and Bry figured out that we were in 8th grade when he became the 15th president of the church. WOW!! We feel old. President Hinckley is Bryan's great Uncle. His Grandma Call who passed away from a car accident when she was in her 40's was the sister of Majorie Pay Hinckley. Bry's dad tells us stories of when he was a little boy and how he got to go visit Uncle Gordan and Aunt Marj in their home. That is something special that I know of Pres. Hinckley. I love this man and know that he is happy with his family and his wife that have passed on. What a rejoicing time in the Heavens!

High in the Sky!

Mayley's new favorite thing to do is for daddy to hold her up in the air. She likes to say "high in the sky" and laughs and giggles a ton. She is in a stage right now where she doesn't want to wear her clothes. It is a big fight to try to get them on her. That is why she is partially dressed in these pictures. On sunday she did not want to wear a dress so she ended up wearing only a onsies with some tights on during sacrament mtg. 9:00 church is super fun!! :)

This is her new activity! She loves building the blocks that she got from Aunt Hayley into a big tower. We call it her tower of power. :) She can build it super high!

Hiiiiiiiiii you!

Mayley's favorite thing to say to Hunter is "Hi you" and she does say Hunter about 50 times a day too. He just melts my heart with his huge cute smile! Yeah sorry about the grossly stained onesie he has on. That is what you call A LOT of drool :0)

mr. boogedy!

I found a bunch of fun shows and movies that reminded me of when I was little.
This was a movie we watched when we were really little. It made us laugh because it wasn't scary at all. It was more funny than scary that's for sure. I love things that bring back old memories. It just puts a smile on my face. :)

something to remember!

We watched this show all the time when were little. anyone else do the same? We always laughed super hard when the kid with the long red hair said "it makes me want to fart"! it was funny!

More Pics of Hawaii

The Laie Temple was beautiful!!

We are posing to be funny here. Like it was our prom picture or something :)

This is Bry and his grandpa hat walking up to the beach house we stayed in. It was awesome!

Mayley giving Hunter loves waking up first thing in the morning at the beach house! It looks like she is trying to pick his nose!

Our first fun adventure to the beach at an awesome place called Haunama Bay. We went Snorkling here! We found a huge sea turtle the 2nd time we got to go out. It was my first time ever snorkling!! I LOVED IT!!

Our favorite pic of Mayley playing on the beach for the firs time! :)

Apostles are amazing!

"Nephi-like, might we ask ourselves what our children know? From us? Personally? Do our children know that we love the scriptures? Do they see us reading them and marking them and clinging to them in daily life? Have our children ever unexpectedly opened a closed door and found us on our knees in prayer? Have they heard us not only pray with them but also pray for them out of nothing more than sheer parental love? Do our children know we believe in fasting as something more than an obligatory first-Sunday-of-the-month hardship? Do they know that we have fasted for them and for their future on days about which they knew nothing? Do they know we love being in the temple, not least because it provides a bond to them that neither death nor the legions of hell can break? Do they know we love and sustain local and general leaders, imperfect as they are, for their willingness to accept callings they did not seek in order to preserve a standard of righteousness they did not create? Do those children know that we love God with all our heart and that we long to see the face—and fall at the feet—of His Only Begotten Son? I pray that they know this." - Jeffrey R. Holland, "A Prayer for the Children," Ensign (CR), May 2003, p.85

Last Friday Night....

So this is one of the craziest stories about living in Tooele! Last friday night we had some friends over because we were doing a musical number for the stake baptism the next morning and needed to practice it. The girls brought their families so all the kids could play together so we had a house full of kids too!! The girls that came over happen to be girls we went to High school with and it was a coincendece that we all ended up living out here in Tooele!(Mindy Neibergalgh and Heidi Bolander) Well it was really stormy and windy the whole day and a little after they showed up we felt a big "THUMP" hit the house. We wondered if something had fell over upstairs because of the wind. Bryan went to check but there was nothing wrong upstairs. It was funny because Mindy's little boy, Jackson, said something funny like "I think a trampoline hit your house". So about a half hour later there is a knock at the door. I open the door and a man asks us "Is that your trampoline in the middle of the road?" We go running out there and the wind had picked up a trampoline and it landed almost in our driveway but in the road. We ran downstairs and told our husbands what had happened. They went and cleaned it all up and went knocking door to door wondering whose trampoline it was. They came back about 45 minutes later and it was the neighbors 4 houses down. It really was a trampoline that hit our house. It bent our mailbox and snapped our swingset in half. The wind was so powerful that night. Me and Bry looked out the window for a good 30 minutes and watched things blow down the street. We were waiting to see if the stop sign would blow over. I saw a fisher price playhouse get carried away and break into pieces. We had a sleepover in the front room because our bedroom got the worst wind noise out of anywhere in the house. There was no way to sleep. The power went out at 12:15 that night and we woke up at 9:00 the next morning to a 60 degree house. Luckily we went to Heidi's house so the kids wouldn't freeze to death. Our neighborhood was a big mess. Tons of houses had their siding totally ripped off their houses. Tons of Shingles from roofs were scattered everywhere and lots of fences were completley blown over. It was the worst wind storm I have ever seen. Pretty crazy. We were lucky to have only a couple shingles gone from our roof. YIKES!! That was a night I will never forget.

YAY FOR DEALS!

Hunter got a new crib today!! yes we have 2 cribs in our house now. Sounds kinda funny huh? When you have 2 babies it had to happen for us. Hunter only sleeps good when he is sleeping with us or in Mayley's crib so we had to do something about our sleeping situation. Mayley is going to be in her crib for awhile so today was our lucky day. If any of you want good furniture deals RC WILLEY does have awesome deals. Maybe its just because Bryan works there too but on the 3rd floor at the RC Willey in Salt Lake there is a room full of just discounted furniture. He found a crib that has never been used but was a floor model for only 50 bucks. It's not the fanciest one but its still nice!! We hope this solves the endless sleepless nights that I and Bryan have had the past couple of months. I will have to post a picture on here and show all of you!! I know this is a huge blessing in our life and I'm grateful for blessings :)
