4th of July Fun!

We had a BLAST on the 4th of July! (no pun intended). We went to the Tooele Parade in the morning. We then went up to Salt Lake and out to the Classic Skating and Waterslides right off of 90th south and 3rd West. I had never been there before but it was a ton of fun. There is a fun kiddie pool and slides. The big slides are a lot of fun because you get a pad to go down with you that makes it 10 times as fast. Its quite the rush! It was super fun! After we went swimming we went inside. There are a bunch of bounce houses and slides. Mayley loved it. Later that night we went to another parade out in Sandy with my parents. It was super entertaining and Chick-fil-a gave away free chicken nuggets! They had so many bags left over we got a whole bunch. That was the best part! We watched the lamest fireworks ever out at the Deseret Peak Complex in Tooele later that night. Mayley was totally afraid of the fireworks and the loud noises that they made. I made a big bowl of popcorn to take with us. I thought that would be a fun tradition to eat popcorn and watch the fireworks from now on. She loved the popcorn! Me and Hunter just chilled on a blanket for a good 10 minutes and then the show was over. I guess we learned our lesson never to go there again. We are going to try for Idaho Falls fireworks again maybe next year. That's the best show ever!

It's Runge Time!

This is a funny little story! One night we were watching Fox 13 News. Mayley ran over to the TV as Mike Runge the sports caster came on to do the sports and said "PROPHET" We were laughing so hard. What a funny little girl. I think it was still when Pres. Hinckley was alive but then a couple weeks ago Bry sent me this little ditty and said "Hey the prophet really was on Runge Time". Now that's awesome! The best part is the old guy in the background that laughs super funny! We listen to it over and over because its so dang funny!

Baby Steps

This is a proud moment for us! I love this stage in a baby's life! It's one of my favorite parts of being a parent. They are just so cute!I love see their little legs move and take those small steps. It's amazing how little by little he gets better everyday at it too. It's so true how step by step we grow and learn in our lives just like our little man! I learn so much from my kids! You go little man!

Happy Birthday Rhonda!

Happy Birthday to my mom today!! She is known by Rhondizzle in our family! and she is Fo-Shizzle!! Meaning she is always there for us and is a great listener! I'm so grateful to have such an awesome mom! She always has a positive attitude and is a friend to everyone she meets. She has taught me how to use money wisely and buy things only if its for a really good deal. She treats our friends like her own kids and she makes everyone feel welcome in her home. She is such a good grandma and loves to play with her grandkids. She took us down to Zions in her van and let Mayley watch lots of movies in the back. We got to go visit our great great great grandfather's grave. That was super exciting for her because she loves to do Geneology! I have a strong testimony of Temple Work because of what my mom has done for our ancestors. I have been able to do lots of temple work for my ancestors and it is a humbling experience. She is a good example to me and I love her tons!

We are gettin a fence!

We are finally putting up a fence in our backyard. We worked all day last saturday on it. Bry even let me dig a hole with the jackhammer! It was fun. Bry's Dad, Brad, Kerri & Kaci came to help and play along. It was a lot a work and we are forever grateful for all of their hardwork they helped us do :)

This is the view of the job they got done! While they were working we played with the kids in the mini yellow pool. Kaci and Hunter had a blast splashing around. Their birthdays are only 6 days apart.

This is my all time favorite picture I got of the bubs! We put on this hat so his head wouldn't get burned! It's the cutest thing ever. He is happy kid.
