Happy Birthday Mayley!

Mayley turned 2 today!! We had lots of fun getting her up this morning. We made her breakfast and stuck 2 candles in her toast and she blew out the candles about 5 times. She loves doing that. She slept in for a long time this morning so we already had the house decorated with streamers when she woke up. Her facial expression was unforgettable as she looked downstairs and saw the streamers hanging. She was so excited to see Balloons as well and we hurried and blew them up! She keeps us laughing all the time. We had a party for her at 1:00 this afternoon. Grandma Lynda, Grandpa Call, Grandma & Papa Redding, Parker, Nancy, Steve, Abbie, Anna & Megan all came to celebrate with her. Her party was supposed to be an ELMO theme but all the stuff I ordered off the internet like an elmo shaped cake pan and balloons didn't get here in time so Bryan hurried and whipped up a cake for Mayley this morning. He did an awesome job. We played pin the nose on Elmo, hot potato with a stuffed animal Elmo, and Fishie Dorthy bean bag toss. We also played a game where I printed off lots of pictures of mayley since she was born and I stuck them all over the wall and I would give everyone a hint of where the picture was of Mayley and we had to put them in order. It was a fun game.

When Mayley went to open her presents she jumped up and down and kept saying "PRESENTS" She was super excited to open up each one. Her first present was a baby doll and after that she wouldn't put the thing down! So she opened the rest of her presents one handed! Everytime she would open a present we would tell her what it was and then she would repeat what it was in her high excited voice. Thank you everyone for all the fun gifts she recieved. :)

Bryan and I are super exhausted. We cannot describe the Happiness that our little Mayley girl brings to us. She is our pride and joy!! We love watching her learn and grow everyday. She is such a good and loving big sister to Hunter. She loves learning new things and making lots of messes. She is our little helper when it comes to cleaning things. Bryan even said tonight that she could start her own maid business when she gets older. I truly believe that Heavenly Father has given all of us our own personality when he created us because it is amazing to watch Mayley and how strong of a little woman she is. We just love her guts! :)

A good Joke!

This Joke made me laugh :)

A bishop was walking down the street one day when he noticed a young primary boy in his ward trying to press the doorbell of a home on the street. The boy was very small and the doorbell was too high for him to reach it, so the Bishop decided to help him by pressing the doorbell. Crouching down to the child's level, the Bishop smiled benevolently and asked, "And now what, young brother?" To which the boy replied, "Now we run!"

I got this joke from: www.sugardoodle.net
awesome church idea website for serving in any position I LOVE IT! :)

Hunter's First Tooth

After 6 1/2 months of continuous drooling.......Hunter's first tooth finally poked through. If he would hold still long enough we would take a picture and put it on here. For now, we will just have to use our imaginations of what it looks like. (a hint, it is white and pokey)

Waiting all my life!

About a month ago I heard on the radio that Rascal Flatts was coming to Salt Lake. I have wanted to go their concert every time they come into town but the tickets are always a ton of money. So the story of how I got to go was really funny! It was a lot of bugging Bryan telling him that I desperatley wanted to go. Once we found out we were getting a huge tax return Bry started talking about how we could go. We got to sit on the 18th row!!!!! It was the funnest time ever. I was dancing and singing the whole time! They are my favorite band in the whole world so I was in heaven!!! I love Bryan for taking me! I got him to dance around with me too! The concert was amazing!!!!

Bryan is Superman!

I just feel like writing and sharing how wonderful of a hubby I have. He is superman to me. Friday night he had a Ward basketball game and those of you who know Bryan, he's super good at playing basketball. It was a late game so I stayed home and got the kids ready for bed while he was gone. They are in the playoffs right now so if our ward looses then they are out of the tournament (so to speak). So when he came home that night all sweaty and excited this is what he had to tell me:
"Honey, I think you are my good luck charm when you stay home and don't see me play."
I'm thinking..."WHAT?"
then he proceeds to tell me "We just won the game and I saved our team from loosing."
He was sooooo excited to tell me the play by play and how the other team was about to make a basket with only 3 seconds left in the game to win it and bryan knocked it out of the guys hands to make him miss the shot. He was absolutley stoked because the first time they played the same team they lost to them by only 2 points. Bry was super determined he was going to beat them and HE DID IT! After he explained it to me I was excited for him and had completley forgotten what he had said when he first walked through the door. I was very impressed with what a determined guy he is.

Then the next morning: Saturday morning Hunter woke us up at 7:00 and Bry let me sleep in! So he decided to take Hunter over to Wal-mart with him to buy paint so he could paint our bathroom a nice white color. He worked so hard on the bathroom all day long. I'm not good at painting so I let him do his thing while I watched the kids. He made it look way nice.

I'm just proud of him for all he does for our family and the fun things he accomplishes in his life to make him and us happy as well! What a MAN! :)

Another reason being that he got to be a drummer in Hawaii at the Polynesian Cultural Center and made everyone laugh. He's good and always making everyone laugh. I stole this off Brad and Kerri's blog since they were the ones that recorded it for us. So there is Kerri's family at the end of the video..just so you aren't confused with what is going on. Thanks for letting me put this on here guys.

The Living Planet Aquariam! Leap Year Fun!

Mayley, Hunter & I were invited to go to this fun planetariam up in Salt Lake with Bryan's Mom and Sister and her girls (Abbie, Anna & Megan.) aka the cousins! Mayley could not stop calling every fish "NEMO" it was super fun. Mayley loved putting her hand in the water. You can't tell but in the water are Sting Rays that you could actually touch. Mayley just wanted to play in the water. What else do you expect an almost 2 year old to do.
There really were cool NEMO fish. They are beautiful fish! I was amazed because I had never seen one before.
Mayley loves her cousins. She is hanging out with Abbie in this picture. They are ready to go see the fishies.

Another funny picture of mayley pointing at the aquariams saying "NEMO NEMO!"

There was another part of the aqauriam where we learned about fish that live in UTAH waters. Just a bunch of trout behind us. :)
It was a fun day and it kept me sane from my crazy week at home with the kids!
